Pacific
International Insurance Company Limited("Pacific") has launched a new
series of health insurance products. New plans will be
effective from 1st April, 2008 and replace the existing health
insurance plans. "Pacific" is a multiline insurance underwriter
with deep historical roots in a tradition of providing health
insurance and health care services to the people of Asia and the
world.
The three lines of health insurance, namely Major Medical plan,
Standard Medical plan and Comprehensive Medical plan, are still the
main product lines.
A geographical loading shall be imposed on residents of the following countries:

Residents in Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore,
Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam shall be entitled to 25% discount if they opt to exclude treatments in Hong Kong (SAR), Japan and
North America. Residents in countries not listed will be given
individual consideration.
